Here’s a selection of 10 exciting movies coming out in the coming months. We hope that they will give us a lot of thrills and plunge into the magical world of cinema.
The Grand Budapest Hotel
In the eyes of his many fans, director Wes Anderson cannot make a bad movie. His latest work was presented at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival and received great reviews. Ralph Fiennes, in a rare comedic role for him, has joined such stars as Bill Murray and Edward Norton. We hope this Anderson film is as tasty as everyone else.
Under the Skin
Jonathan Glazer does not make films very often and has released only 3 films in the last 14 years. However, all of his films are noteworthy. Scarlett Johansson got the lead role in the director’s sci-fi parable. She plays an alien who eats the male population of Scotland!
Experiment: The Quiet Ones
A new thriller from the legendary British production company “Hammer” is out. This story is based on true events and shows a professor at Oxford University trying to induce a poltergeist with the help of his best students. Mad Jared Harris begins his experiment with paranormal forces, but something goes wrong …
Рейд 2/The Raid 2: Berendal
Indonesian director Gareth Evans impressed many viewers with his 2011 action film (“The Raid”). Critics praised Evans’ skill as if he had invented the wheel. Meanwhile, actor Iko Juvans has been declared the new world hero. Raid 2 premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January. And judging by its success, the film turned out to be of the same quality as the first part.
Who remembers Roland Emmerich’s movie “Godzilla” from the 90s? Will Gareth Edwards, the director of Monsters, be able to shoot something new? Wait and see. He attracted great actors such as Elizabeth Olsen, Sally Hawkins, Brian Cranston to the shooting. And the star in this amazing team is the French legend Juliette Binoche!
Today we are witnessing a certain trend in cinematography. Many directors have undertaken to shoot “alternative fairy tales” based on the classic children’s literature. Disney’s summer blockbuster features one of its most famous stories, The Sleeping Beauty, from Melefisenta’s perspective. Plays the evil queen Angelina Jolie. Previously released photos from the set depicting the famous actress dressed as a witch shocked the whole world. She looks just amazing!
Edge of Tomorrow
The film is based on a novel by a Japanese writer. Tom Cruise plays a soldier who goes through the same battle to save the planet every day. He does this not of his own free will, but because he fell into the loop of time. Something like Groundhog Day … only with aliens.
Summer means blockbusters! Let’s face it, Hollywood does it great. With last year’s Cloud Atlas, the Wachowskis greatly disappointed their viewers. After this setback, they returned to the screens with the story of a young girl played by Mila Kunis. The main character lives an ordinary life, but she learns that only she alone can change the balance in the Universe. Isn’t it Star Wars?
Interstellar / Interstellar
Another sci-fi movie. Any year that Christopher Nolan releases a film is a landmark in the film industry. Like all Nolan films, this picture will be unexpected. Because a typical director’s move is not to tell practically anything about the plot of a film until it is released. We can only say that according to the scenario, a group of scientists decided to make a journey through a black hole. What will they find there?
Exodus / Exodus
Ridley Scott is one of the most incredible directors of our time. After last year’s crime thriller “The Counselor”, a film of a completely different genre followed. “Exodus” is a retelling of the biblical story of Moses leading the Israelites from Egypt to the Promised Land. The film can be both a flop and a great one. However, let’s hope that after this premiere, Ridley Scott will finally finish work on the Blade Runner sequel, which he promised his fans for so long.
